Bhakti Yoga Shack
Although they are small business owners, their full time job is raising their family and home-schooling their four young children. Radha & Gopal enjoy surfing, vegetarian cooking, organic gardening, and yoga. But most of all, they enjoy coming together for their daily Sadhana-Bhakti practice in the morning. where they begin the day together by connecting with God and each other through heart-opening kirtan meditation chant.
During their time on Kauai Radha dasi and Gopal das have touched many hearts with their kirtans and humble sharing of the teachings of Bhakti creating a ripple affect which has gone on to assist in the transformational shift in the lives of others- many of whom have embraced the path of Bhakti in their own hearts and now study and serve along side them at the Bhakti Yoga Shack.
Radha dasi and Gopal das (founders of the Bhakti Yoga Shack) are long-time students of Bhaki Yoga Master Jagad Guru Siddhaswarupanada Paramahamsa – a bonafide spiritual teacher (Guru) coming in the disciplic succession (parampara) known as the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya. This spiritual lineage includes the great renowned sage Srila Vyasadeva, who compiled and wrote down the Vedas some 5,000 years ago, and in more recent history, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486–1534 AD), who is acknowledged as the foremost proponent of bhakti yoga.
As children, Radha dasi and Gopal das grew up with a love for singing kirtan. Individually blessed and divinely placed together, they now offer their devotional chanting as a dynamic husband and wife duo. Offering several weekly community kirtan gatherings on Kauai, and kirtan retreats and workshops around the world.
Through their personal practice and teachings, Radha and Gopal are living a life of service offering the ancient practice of sacred kirtan to the community free of charge, simply as a gift of love.
Join Radha and Gopal as they open up their hearts and home for their Sadhana Sunday Gathering.
